Store Brands' exclusive Collaboration Summit will bring together 20 retailer executives with 20 private label manufacturers and service providers participating in the private label space to share actionable information and insights on working together to drive growth in store brand share.  The summit provides a forum for the exchange of fresh ideas, innovative store brand concepts, and best-in-class marketing and merchandising strategies.

Keynote speakers include:

Wesley Bean, vice president of global supply chain at APR Energy and former vice president, corporate brands for Bi-Lo Holdings LLC; Collaboration: Internal and External Challenges to Creating Strategic Supplier-Retailer Relationships - Often when companies try to drive true collaboration, challenges come about for a variety of different reasons. Organizational structure, misaligned metrics, values, financial objectives and more drive behavior. This presentation will explore opportunities to address collaboration challenges through the alignment of values, organizational design, transparency and data sharing as means to create mutually beneficial value across organizational boundaries.

Carman Allison, vice president, consumer insights for Nielsen; Private Label Insights Above the 49th Parallel - Private label in Canada has captured 18 percent of a consumers’ wallet. With the top five retailers accounting for over 80 percent of CPG sales, the opportunity to reach consumers is great. However, distribution isn’t enough.
