WS Packaging Group wins three TMLI printing awards

Green Bay, Wis.-based WS Packaging Group recently garnered three awards at the 39th-annual Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) Awards Competition.

Including the recent TMLI Awards, WS Packaging has earned 25 awards for excellence and innovation in printing, packaging, graphics, and sustainable products and services since 2009.

Awards like these are reassuring that our industry-leading innovations in printing and packaging, as well as design, are delivering.”

At the TLMI Awards, WS Packaging took home awards in both Flexography and Digital Printing, including:

* Excellence in Digital Printing Wine & Spirits — Toner, Color Process/Non-Prime: First-place award for “Bikinis and Martinis.”
* Excellence in Flexography/Letterpress Wine & Spirits — Line and Screen/Tone, Prime: First- place award for “Matusalem.”
* Excellence in Flexography, Line and Screen/Tone, Prime: Second-place award for “Young Living.” 

Founded in 1933, TLMI is the association in North America for the $12.2 billion narrow web, tag, label, and packaging industry. Its awards competition aims to stimulate innovative printing and to recognize technical achievement in all areas of the narrow web industry, including tags and labels, cartons, flexible packaging, non-woven pressure-sensitives, and more. The 2016 competition drew 225 entries in various categories.
