SternMaid America receives organic certification

SternMaid America, Aurora, Ill., said it is now certified for contract manufacturing of foods and food supplements of organic quality. The seal of approval from Quality Assurance International guarantees adherence to the USDA’s National Organic Program (or NOP) standards for the production of organic foods, the company stated.

Besides processing, blending and filling organic products in powder form, SternMaid can procure raw materials from controlled organic farming enterprises at the customer’s request.

The demand for products with the seal of approval for organic quality has increased enormously worldwide in recent years, said the company. With the “organic” seal, SternMaid America will be able to help enterprises serve this booming market. Customers can have organic products blended and packaged by SternMaid America without being certified themselves.
