Giant Food to feature exclusive food line from Chef Robert Irvine

Giant Food LLC, a banner of Carlisle, Pa.-based Ahold USA, said Restaurant: Impossible celebrity Chef Robert Irvine is launching his new food line exclusively at Giant Food. During a July 1 launch celebration at a Giant Food Washington, D.C., store, Irvine will meet fans and sign books as customers sample some of the initial foods available at Giant stores.

Irvine will also discuss the development of his line of products, which include reduced-calorie cheesecake, all-natural crab cakes, Fit Crunch protein bars, multigrain pizzas and oven-roasted wings, Giant Food said. The food line is said to feature products that are easy to prepare for families on the go, with simple ingredients that everyone can pronounce.
