Fresh & Easy to close 14 stores

According to a July 29 Orange County Register article, Fresh & Easy, El Segundo, Calif., confirmed it will be closing 14 stores. The stores were described by Brendan Wonnacott, company spokesman, as “underperforming locations.” Stores will close in Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles in California; Las Vegas and Arizona. These store closings follow 55 other Fresh & Easy closures earlier this year and leave the chain with fewer than 100 store locations.
