Ahold USA to launch exclusive Queen Latifah floral collection

Carlisle, Pa.-headquartered Ahold USA said it is partnering with award-winning actress, singer, songwriter and producer Queen Latifah on a “unique and groundbreaking” floral line. The Queen Collection will feature bouquets and plants designed by Queen Latifah, reflecting her “iconic style,” with beautiful arrangements and premium-quality flowers, according to the company.

Beginning Oct. 7, the exclusive line will be available at Ahold USA's Stop & Shop, Giant Food of Landover, Giant Food Stores of Carlisle and Martin’s retail divisions.

“I love flowers, giving them and receiving them, so when Ahold USA presented me with this incredible opportunity, I jumped at the chance to create my own floral line that is beautiful, and easily accessible at popular grocery store at affordable prices,” said Queen Latifah, who in 2006 became the first hip hop artist to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “I am extremely proud of the innovative designs we’ve created and the quality flowers that I have handpicked exclusively for the Queen Collection.”

The collection will include eight floral bouquets and two orchids personally named by Queen Latifah.

Ahold USA said that 100 percent of the flowers in Queen Collection bouquets and arrangements are sustainably sourced from certified farms.
